IMMEDIATE-past former Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Elias Mubanga says no small business will be shut down for failing to have a compliance certificate or pay taxes, as government wants to give them time to stabilise after the energy crisis. Mubanga has also disclosed that government has empowered about 83,000 SMEs in the past four years, translating into about K1.3 billion.
