COMMERCE, Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga has clarified that not all sectors will open at once under the 24-hour economy, saying the first sectors to be opened will be retail and transport markets. Mulenga says government will ensure police presence is available on a 24-hour basis to provide security. Mulenga has also disclosed that the Ministry of Transport and Logistics will soon lift the ban on night travel for businesses.
