ZAMBIA recorded a 1.6 percent GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2025, down from 8.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2024. And the preliminary GDP estimates show that the economy grew by 3.8 percent in 2025. Speaking during a briefing, Thursday, Zambia Statistics Agency Statistician General Sheila Mudenda said the growth was attributed to the agriculture, fishing and construction sector among others.
