THE FinScope Survey Report of 2025 has disclosed that mobile money service usage increased to 76.2 percent in 2025 from 58.4 percent in 2020. The report has also pointed to saving groups such as village banking, among others, as the main barriers to the uptake of formal financial services in the country.
