THE Millers Association of Zambia (MAZ) says millers have started purchasing maize at roughly K200 per 50 kg bag, insisting that authorities should release the crop forecast survey report as the month is coming to an end. Meanwhile, MAZ has projected that the country will produce slightly above 4.1 million metric tonnes of maize in the 2026/2027 marketing season.
