GOVERNMENT has completed the construction of the largest fuel depot in Zambia. The facility which is located in Lusaka has a storage capacity of 102,000 cubic metres. Government has urged the country not to panic despite the heightened war in the Middle East, assuring that the country has enough fuel of about 24 days of diesel and 17 days of petrol. Meanwhile, government says petroleum procurement debt owed to Oil Marketing Companies has reduced from over $900 million in 2022 to approximately $210 million as at July 2026.
