GOVERNMENT has disclosed that it is exporting electricity to Congo DRC, Zimbabwe and Namibia as the country has enough generation capacity. Government has also disclosed that installed electricity generation capacity has increased to 4,576 megawatts from approximately 3,100 in 2021. Meanwhile, government says that solar generation has grown from only 88 megawatts in 2021 to approximately 841 megawatts in 2026.
