THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has approved licences and construction permits worth approximately K18.4 billion in new investment across Zambia’s electricity, renewable energy and petroleum subsectors. The approvals were granted at the ERB Licensing Committee meeting held on August 10, 2026. In total, the Board approved 23 licences, 20 construction permits and inclusions to existing licences.
