THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) says Zambia remains secure in terms of fuel supply, with petrol, diesel and kerosene stocks currently above the minimum stock-cover thresholds. The Board says it is closely monitoring fuel supplies and stock movements across the country to ensure uninterrupted availability of petroleum products. Responding to a press query, ERB Manager Public Relations Namukolo Kasumpa disclosed that as of September 16, 2026, the country had approximately 31.5 million litres of petrol, 102.9 million litres of diesel, 78,000 litres of kerosene and 2.72 million litres of Jet A-1. “Regarding the country’s fuel stock position, Zambia remains adequately supplied with petroleum products.
