THE Constitutional Court has ruled that a Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) can be removed from office on the same grounds and procedure as a Judge, adding that Lillian Siyunyi is therefore amenable to the disciplinary process of the Judicial Complaints Commission (JCC). The ConCourt was ruling in a matter in which Lusaka Lawyer Jonas Zimba asked it to determine whether the DPP could be subjected to the procedure under the Judicial Code of Conduct Act when she is not a judicial officer.
