THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has halted proceedings in the case in which three Honeybee directors are accused of uttering a false document. The court has since referred the matter to the High Court for determination of whether the accused can be tried twice for the same offence. Lusaka Magistrate Davies Chibwili also granted the trio’s application to refer the question of whether the provisions of the Constitution have been complied with in the proceedings to the Constitutional Court.
