THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has dragged Luapula Energy Limited to court demanding payment of K244, 258.43, being outstanding statutory fees. The board is also seeking costs of and incidental to the proceedings, and any other relief the court may deem fit. In its statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court, November 1, ERB stated that in January, this year, the defendant entered into a time-to-pay agreement in the sum of K324,909.35 for purposes of liquidating the outstanding licence fees and charges owed to it.
