AN Executor and Trustee of the estate of late former president Patrick Mwanawasa has discontinued the matter in which he sued the state in relation to the former president’s retirement house. Constantine Chimuka, who cited the Attorney General as respondent, was demanding an order to amend the lease of the late former president’s benefit property, which has children’s names; Chipokota, Levy, Ntembe and Lubona Mwanawasa, as trustees. He wanted a substitution of himself and Maureen as executors and trustees or in the alternative the late president. Chimuka has now discontinued the matter. “Take notice that the applicant hereby discontinues this matter,” read a notice of discontinuance filed by his lawyers.
