THE State has submitted to the Lusaka High Court that former First Lady Esther Lungu has not exhibited any proof to show that her husband, Edgar, developed the 15 double-storey flats in State Lodge. Emmanuel Khondowe, a senior investigations officer at the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), has submitted that Esther has not exhibited the movement of money from her husband to her account or to the contractor’s account to substantiate her claim that he built the properties. Khondowe further says Esther needed to demonstrate to the court how and where her husband obtained the money to develop the subject real estate.
