THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has adjourned the case in which former First Lady Esther Lungu is charged with theft of motor vehicle and possession of $400,000 suspected to be proceeds of crime to November 27 for commencement of trial. The former first lady and four others appeared before Magistrate Mbuywana Sinvula yesterday where their case was mentioned and adjourned. Esther was accompanied to court by her husband Edgar Lungu, PF vice-president Given Lubinda, former PF Secretary General Davies Mwila, former deputy PF Secretary General Mumbi Phiri, former Foreign Affairs Minister Joseph Malanji, former DMMU national coordinator Chanda Kabwe, among others. .
