FORMER ERB chief executive officer Butler Sitali, who is accused of corrupt practices, has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court in his defence that he was unfairly fired in 2013 on grounds that he was a UPND sympathiser. Sitali told the court that then Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba accused him of having leaked information to Monze UPND MP Jack Mwiimbu that ERB had 11 board members instead of the seven which was prescribed by the law. Sitali, a lawyer, is charged with two counts of corrupt practices with a public officer, charges he denied.
