A SENIOR Accountant at the Ministry of Finance has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Court that former Lusaka Province minister Bowman Lusambo earned a gross salary of over K5 million for the period he worked as minister from 2016 to 2021. Morgan Mwanza, 44, further told the court that Lusambo received K109,069.71 as leave travel benefits and K170,931.19 as settling in allowance. This is a matter in which Lusambo is jointly charged with his wife, Nancy, with corrupt acquisition of public property and possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime.
