LUSAKA businessman Sedrick Kasanda has sued the State in the Lusaka High Court challenging the seizure of his properties last year by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC). Kasanda has submitted that DEC’s actions of seizing his house known as Plot No. 19 Main Street, Ibex Hill, Lusaka and all the properties situated there was illegal. Meanwhile, Lusaka High Court Judge Charles Zulu has transferred the matter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Court where it is pending allocation.
