THE Lusaka High Court has ruled that it is in the best interest of Mercy Cowham’s children that a paternity test be conducted to ascertain whether they are former Lusaka minister Bowman Lusambo’s children. This is in a matter in which Lusambo sued Cowham in the Lusaka High Court, seeking damages for libel, an apology and an order for a DNA test to be conducted on her children to ascertain their paternity. High Court Judge Mwila Kombe stated that after carefully analysing Lusambo’s facts in the matter, ascertaining the paternity of Cowham’s children was key and fundamental in getting to the root of the matter.
