THE National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has dragged Afri-Delivery Zambia Limited to court for failing to remit contributions and cumulative penalties in the sum of over K2 million in respect of eligible employees. And the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has convicted and fined Afri-Delivery Zambia Limited K300 in each of the five counts it is facing. In a statement of facts, Afri-Delivery Zambia Limited was facing five counts of failing to pay statutory contributions to NAPSA within the period specified contrary to Section 51 (1) d and 2 of the National Pension Scheme (NPS) Act No 40 of 1996 of the Laws of Zambia.
