A MONGU businessman has sued the State in the Lusaka High Court demanding damages for, among other things, false imprisonment in the sum of K10 million. Jermaine Mwanza also wants K2 million as damages for loss of business, mental strain, anguish and embarrassment. In a statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court Principal Registry, Mwanza stated that he was arrested on December 22, 2020, without any reasonable cause.
