MATERO PF member of parliament Miles Sampa has told the Lusaka High Court that he didn’t author the article which allegedly defamed former Bank of Zambia governor Christopher Mvunga. And Sampa argues that commenting on matters of public interest does not amount to defaming Mvunga as he was a public officer, subject to public accountability and scrutiny. This is the matter in which Mvunga sued Sampa in the Lusaka High Court, demanding damages in the sum of K100 million for defamation of character.
