THE Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court division, has upheld the two-year jail sentence slapped on former Zampost postmaster general Macpherson Chanda and two others. The court ruled that the trial court was on firm ground when it found the three guilty of the offence of theft and convicted them. In July 2022, the Economic and Financial Crimes Court in Ndola sentenced Chanda and two others to two years simple imprisonment after finding them guilty of corrupt practices involving over K300 million.
