A 50-year-old man of Lusaka’s Matero compound, Rapheal Mwelwa, has pleaded not guilty to charges of indecent assault and defilement of a 10-year-old child before the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court. Meanwhile, the court has revoked Mwelwa’s bond, citing the lack of a fixed abode for the sureties he had presented at the police. In this matter, Mwelwa is charged with indecent assault contrary to Section 137(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
