HONEY Bee director Zakir Hussain Motala, on behalf of others, is seeking permission to appeal the leave granted to the State to file an appeal challenging the Subordinate Court’s acquittal of Dr Chitalu Chilufya and seven others in the Honeybee drug scandal. Recently, the Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, granted leave to the State to file an appeal challenging the Subordinate Court’s acquittal of Dr Chilufya and others.
