INCARCERATED PF faction Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda has asked the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court to grant him bail pending appeal in a matter he was slapped with six months’ imprisonment with hard labour for expressing hatred, ridicule or contempt for persons because of tribe and place of origin. Meanwhile, the Court has set today, for ruling on Nakacinda’s application. In December last year, Magistrate Idah Phiri Mupemo convicted Nakacinda and ruled that the sentence would run concurrently with an existing 18-month jail term he is currently serving for defaming President Hakainde Hichilema.
