THE Economic and Financial Crimes Court, High Court Division, has ordered the forfeiture of about 71 vehicles and 21 properties belonging to former president Edgar Lungu’s son, Dalitso. The order was issued following an application by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Gilbert Phiri, who was seeking the forfeiture of over 71 vehicles belonging to Dalitso, and various properties, which included a filling station. During trial, the state submitted that Dalitso acquired “unexplained wealth” of about K31 million, had 16 properties scattered throughout the country, and 21 vehicles registered under his name.
