THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has granted National Democratic Congress (NDC) Secretary General Mambwe Zimba K600,000 bail in his own recognizance after he denied a cybercrime charge. The case relates to a Facebook post on the page ‘Zambia for All 2026’, showing President Hakainde Hichilema lying in a casket. Zimba is charged with the offence of prohibition of computer-related misrepresentation and computer fraud, contrary to Section 12(1) of the Cyber-Crimes Act No. 4 of 2025 of the Laws of Zambia.
