TWO female police officers have dragged two Chinese nationals to the High Court, seeking damages amounting to K5 million for assault. The officers have lamented that the Chinese nationals manhandled them, accusing them of being thieves and corrupt, with one of the defendants threatening that, “I will tell the Minister, he is my personal friend and I will have you fired”. Chipo Prisca Matulula and Gloria Mangalashi are claiming general damages of K1 million each, special damages of K500,000 each and K3.5 million for defamation of character.
