THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has sentenced a 31-year-old woman identified as Natasha Msoni to seven days’ simple imprisonment for contempt of court after she was caught capturing proceedings on her phone. Msoni was seen recording while attending a court hearing for Pasmore Mwiinga, who is facing charges of theft of a motor vehicle. Magistrate Paul Namakando said Msoni would serve seven days in prison in order to act as a deterrent to would-be offenders. “The court of law is a court of rules, and people should learn and obey the rules.
