MINISTER of Youth and Sports, Elvis Nkandu has donated K50,000 to the Eagles Ladies Club as a show of support towards the completion of the Tom Fara Mini Hospital project in Mpika. Nkandu made this pledge when he graced the MFZ Eagles Marathon at the Zambia National Service (ZNS) Head Quarters garrison in Chamba Valley, Lusaka on Sunday. The minister further commended the initiative, urging the organizers to grow the marathon into a national signature event. The marathon, which attracted over 4,000 participants served as a major fundraiser towards the Tom Fara mini hospital project that is currently in its second phase of development.
