A GROUP of Zambia Athletics (ZA) Executive Committee members has submitted a petition calling for the suspension of president Major Bernard Bwalya, alleging financial mismanagement, abuse of office, and violations of the ZA Constitution. Meanwhile, ZA has urged the petitioners to submit full supporting information for their allegations for the president to be given the opportunity to respond and defend himself. The petition, signed by ZA Vice Secretary Prosper Misengo Tandabala, Treasurer Komani Ng’ambi, and committee members Webson Moonga, Getrude Gamela, and Mike Musanda, invoked Article 21.1 of the ZA Constitution on misconduct and disciplinary matters.
