THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has adjusted the Chipolopolo’s training schedule in Murcia, Spain and canceled a planned international friendly match against African champions Ivory Coast. FAZ stated that the Chipolopolo will now conclude their week-long training camp tomorrow before traveling directly to Morocco ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 after canceling the friendly which was originally scheduled for yesterday. FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande noted that the match date fell within the mandatory five-day rest period required by AFCON regulations before the tournament begins.
