THE Zambia Athletics (ZA) has formally dismissed the petition lodged on December 6, 2025 against the office of its president Major Bernard Bwalya, declaring the matter fully resolved following a procedural and evidential review. In a press statement issued by ZA General Secretary Teddy Shimishi, the ZA Secretariat confirmed that the petition failed to meet mandatory constitutional and procedural requirements and could therefore not proceed any further.
