COPPER Queens head coach Nora Hauptle has named her final 23-member squad for the 2026 COSAFA Women’s Championship, with Zambia heading into the regional showpiece determined to defend their crown in Polokwane, South Africa, from February 18 to March 1. Zambia enter the tournament as reigning champions, having lifted the COSAFA title in 2022 and 2024, while finishing runners-up in 2023. With two trophies in the last three editions, the Copper Queens have established themselves as a dominant force in Southern African women’s football and will be targeting an unprecedented third title in four years.
