TEAM Zambia has made history at the 2026 IMMAF Africa Championships in Luanda, amassing an incredible 16 medals from a contingent of just 20 athletes. The medal haul included four gold medals, five silver, and seven bronze, marking Zambia’s most successful outing at the continental championships to date. Gold medalists for Zambia were Portus Chama (Senior), Mutinta Mweene (Senior), Chomba Mwandila (Senior), and Alex Bwalya (Junior). Silver medals went to Tryson Mubanga (Youth), Danny Chiluba (Junior), Richard Mwanza (Junior), Ernest Kazanga (Junior), and Justin Mweene (Senior).
