THE National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ), through its Safe Sport Programme, has hosted a two-day Safeguarding Persons of Contact (SPOCs) Outcome Harvest Workshop aimed at strengthening athlete protection and wellbeing across the country. The workshop, supported by the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NIF), took place from 11–12 June 2026 at a venue in Lusaka. It brought together Safeguarding coordinators from various National Federations (NFs) to enhance their capacity in implementing and monitoring safeguarding measures within their respective sports.
