KONKOLA Blades Football Club has announced the signing of four new players ahead of the 2026/2027 MTN Super League season. In a statement issued by the head of media and marketing Chiteta Chinyemba on Tuesday, KBFC said the recruitment is part of management’s commitment to building a competitive squad following recent restructuring. The club has signed Congolese forward Idris Ilunga Mbombo on a one year six months contract. Mbombo, formerly of Nkana FC, ZESCO United and Kabwe Warriors is expected to add goals to the attack.
