CHIPOLOPOLO head coach George Lwandamina has announced a 27-member squad for the upcoming 2027 AFCON qualifiers against Algeria and Togo. The squad, which consists 14 foreign based players, will be headlined by Patson Daka, Fashion Sakala and Lameck Banda. Also called up are red hot strikers Kingstone Mutandwa and Albert Kangwanda as well as midfielders Gamphani Jones Lungu and Miguel Changa Chaiwa. Notable absentees from the squad include; Kings Kangwa who is serving a four match ban, Lubambo Musonda, Edward Chilufya, Clatous Chota Chama and Frankie Musonda. The Chipolopolo boys will play Algeria away on September 25 before facing Togo at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium four days later.
