THE Chelstone Local Court has declined to grant a divorce to a Mtendere East couple after it was revealed that the pair had been intimate just hours before their court appearance. Mercy Ngoma, 42, told the court that despite dragging her husband to court for divorce, they were intimate throughout the night and into the morning before their appearance. However, her husband denied the claim, saying he could not remember the last time they were intimate and challenged the court to verify that he had not had sex with his wife.
