A MEANWOOD Ndeke woman has told the court that her husband demands payment at the end of the month for caring for their children, charging her the same amount she pays her house help after he chases them. The woman, a nurse, said her husband also forced her to take out loans from several financial institutions to finance his drinking and gambling, leaving her with no take-home pay as lenders deduct all her earnings. Her husband, Mwiche Kamwanga, who did not deny her claims, pleaded for forgiveness and asked her not to divorce him, promising to repay all the money.
