A CHAINDA man has told the court that after he risked his life caring for his wife during her cholera illness, he later discovered she was allegedly having an affair with another man. Canaan Phiri said he learnt of the affair through his wife’s elder sister, who revealed that his wife had found another man after she saw him drunk on Kachasu, which he said he drank because he feared contracting cholera after touching her without gloves.
