THERE was laughter during a swearing in ceremony at State House yesterday after President Hakainde Hichilema cracked some Kopala jokes. President Hichilema joked that people from the Copperbelt Province were straight shooters who said it like it is. He recalled that in 2021, they had promised to put him in State House and they did just that. “Why should it take so long to modernise our laws? Natwenda mukwai, bwangu bwangu (we have really moved).
