FORMER Kwacha PF member of parliament Joseph Malanji and his Kabushi counterpart Bowman Lusambo have instructed their lawyers from Makebi Zulu Advocates to commence contempt proceedings against Justice Minister Mulambo Haimbe. In a statement, Thursday, Haimbe said it was incorrect for anyone to give an impression that the Constitutional Court had declared Malanji and Lusambo eligible to re-contest the Kwacha and Kabushi by-elections, respectively. “There have been misconceptions arising from the Constitution Court ruling yesterday. These misconceptions have been fuelled by reckless statements made by some sections of society following the delivery by the ConCourt of its judgment.
