LUMEZI Independent member of parliament Munir Zulu has requested to move a motion challenging his 30 day suspension for using obscene language in the House. And Zulu has complained that the presiding officer did not accord him an opportunity to withdraw his words but proceeded to recognise Mwembeshi UPND member of parliament Machila Jamba who rose on a point of order against him. On Friday, Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti suspended Zulu for 30 days for saying “everyone here shaves their pubic hair, we’re all elders”.
