A NEWS Diggers investigation has established that TFM representative Msebisi Mlonzi has been on trial in a case of fraud in South Africa, following his arrest in a matter where he allegedly swindled the Amahlathi Local Municipality out of R92 million through a tender to supply earth moving equipment. The South African businessman who recently accused Health Minister Sylvia Masebo of soliciting for a bribe in the prefab hospital construction tender, however, says the fraud case was withdrawn by the prosecutor as it was an error of “not understanding finance lease”.
