ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha says journalists should be given space to carry out their work professionally without being harassed or intimidated. And Kabesha says police officers need to be educated on human rights, arguing that most of them are the same officers who were labelled unprofessional by people in the past. Commenting on the recent arrest of two Muvi TV journalists who filmed a police operation at Chilufya Tayali’s house, Kabesha said journalists needed freedom of movement and expression in order to do their work better. “I have read from the media, I wouldn’t say much [on why they were arrested] because I don’t know in what circumstances they were arrested, what did they do, I am not privy to that....
