THE Socialist Party says it has notified IMF about the Securities (Amendment) Bill No. 23 so that they can convince President Hakainde Hichilema not to use it to abuse the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to benefit himself and his friends. And the Socialist Party has called for the cancellation of the contract granted to Grant Thornton to audit defence forces, saying it’s unacceptable that entities associated with the top leadership seem to always get favours.
