VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango has urged civil servants to work in accordance with the UPND manifesto, saying they shouldn’t frustrate government’s efforts or hold on to policies of past regimes. The Vice-President has also insisted that commodity prices will always fluctuate, arguing that while the cost of living may have gone up in certain areas, it has reduced in other places. Meanwhile, Vice-President Nalumango has confirmed that the Bank of Zambia has been releasing dollars on the market to help cushion the exchange rate, describing it as a normal practice.
