GOVERNMENT has increased the minimum wage for domestic workers, shop keepers and general workers among others, effective January 1, 2023. Minister of Labour and Social Security, Brenda Tambatamba said minimum wage for domestic workers has been revised from K993.60 to K1,300 while gross pay for a shop keeper has been increased from K1,698.60, to K2,313.10.
